The exhibition „Interior Diffusion“ brings together two different artistic expressions: hand-painted animation films by Alex Woyde and abstract oil paintings by Felix Reinecker. From October 28 to November 29, 2026, the exhibition can be seen on the gallery ship ARTE NOAH in Würzburg.
The focus is on moving and static images that work with perception, atmosphere, and image effect in different ways. Alex Woyde's hand-painted animation films combine the individual trace of drawing with the temporal flow of animation. In contrast, Felix Reinecker's abstract oil paintings rely on the immediate presence of painting, on color fields, shapes, and the effect of the image in space.
Art on the gallery ship ARTE NOAH
With the ARTE NOAH as the exhibition venue, “Interior Diffusion” receives a special framework. The gallery ship at Oskar-Laredo-Platz 1 combines the presentation of contemporary art with an unusual location in Würzburg. The exhibition invites visitors to compare the two positions and discover both similarities and differences.
Visitors can look forward to an intense encounter with animation and abstract painting. While the films unfold their effect through movement and time, the oil paintings encounter the audience as independent, static image spaces. It is precisely this interplay that makes the exhibition fascinating.
