Cafeteria Party at the Posthalle Würzburg: The semester start becomes a big dance night
When the winter semester 2026/27 begins, the Posthalle Würzburg transforms into a meeting point for first-year students, advanced students, and anyone who wants to celebrate together. The Cafeteria Party on Thursday, October 22, 2026, brings together the student representation of the University of Würzburg for a grand semester start party on two dance floors.
Two floors, a night full of energy
On two floors, a vibrant event atmosphere is created with changing beats, a dense dance floor feeling, and an exuberant audience mood. The concept is aimed not only at students of the University of Würzburg, but also at guests from the University of Music, THWS, and all party lovers aged 18 and above.
Starting the winter semester together
The Cafeteria Party is among the established student parties in Würzburg and offers the perfect setting to make new contacts, reunite with familiar faces, and celebrate the start of the semester in a lively manner. The organization is taken care of by the student representation of the University of Würzburg, supported by the event planning of the Posthalle.
Admission, tickets, and important notes
Admission begins at 10:00 PM. The regular entry fee is 8 euros, first-year students pay 6 euros. Tickets are available in advance via stuv Tix and at the sales booths of the student representation at the start of the semester. Additionally, a box office will be available. The event is open to guests aged 18 and above.
The Posthalle as the venue
The Posthalle is located directly at the Würzburg main station and is thus easily accessible by train, bus, and tram. Short distances, spacious event areas, and the central location make the former Posthalle a well-known event location for concerts, parties, and student events.
Conclusion: The winter semester begins on the dance floor
The Cafeteria Party combines semester start, club night, and student community spirit in a single event. Those who want to experience the start of the winter semester with music, encounters, and energetic audience mood will find the perfect meeting point at the Posthalle on October 22, 2026.
